From I-75: Take Exit 90-A (Richmond/Irvine). Follow US 421 (Martin Bypass) 4 miles to US 52 east (traffic
light 13). Turn left and proceed 18 miles to the City of Irvine on US 52


OR


Turn left at the first red light on Rt. 499 (bypass). Drive 1.4 mile and turn right at the end of the bypass at the
traffic light onto Rt. 89 and proceed 1.4 mile to downtown Irvine.


From Mountain Parkway: Take Exit 16 (Clay City/Winchester). Turn onto KY 82 and follow until it intersects
with US 89. Turn left. Remain on Hwy US 89 approximately 7 miles to the City of Irvine.

Street Closings, Guidelines, Parking & Shuttle Service:

Street Closings
The following streets in Irvine and Ravenna will be closed at certain times during the festival due to the
various events being held.

  • Broadway from Main Street to Estill Avenue, Friday, April 26, 5 p.m. - Sunday, April 28, 6 p.m.

  • Court Street from River Drive to Church Street, Friday, April 26, 5 p.m. - Sunday, April 28, 6 p.m.

  • Broadway from 8th Street in Ravenna to Estill Avenue in Irvine, Sat., April 27, 9 – 10 a.m.

  • River Drive will have street cones, from Court Street to 8th Street in Ravenna, Sat., April 27, 8 a.m. -

11 a.m.

  • Mack Street, Sat., April 27, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Guidelines

  • Admission to the festival is free and all events are open to the public.

  • Portable toilets will be available for public use at several locations on Broadway and on Court Street near

  • Church Street where a handicapped accessible portable toilet will also be available.

  • All events are handicapped accessible. Handicapped accessible parking spaces will be available on the public streets and in parking lots.

  • Handwashing stations will be available at different locations.

  • No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, or scooters will be allowed in the festival area.

  • No animals please.


Festival Parking Areas
Parking areas will be available at the following locations.

  • City streets

  • Irvine United Methodist Church, 243 Main Street, Irvine (proceeds go to Boy Scout Troop #89)

  • Irvine First Church of God, 199 Broadway, Irvine (proceeds go to the church)

  • Citizen's Guaranty Bank, 25 River Drive, Irvine (proceeds go to the Estill County High School Prom)

  • Estill County High School and West Irvine Elementary School. A shuttle service (10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on

  • April 27 and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on April 28) will be provided every 30 minutes throughout the day.

Shuttle Service

The bus shuttle service was so successful the last two years we are providing the service again this year.
We are striving to make the traffic flow as efficiently and quickly as possible. Also it will give our visitors
a place to park free.

  • Two Estill County School school buses will be used as shuttles on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. – 6

p.m. and Sunday, April 28, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Route #1 will be: pick-up point at the Estill County High School, 397 Engineer Drive, Irvine.

Travel to the drop-off at the Central Office. Proceed to Park Avenue, Carhartt Avenue, and turn left at Main Street/Carhartt Avenue. Return to ECHS with continuous shuttles every 30 minutes.

  • Route #2 will be: pick-up point at West Irvine Elementary School, 155 Riverview Drive, Irvine.

Travel to the drop-off at the Central Office. Proceed to Park Avenue, Carhartt Avenue, and return to West Irvine School with continuous shuttles every 30 minutes.

  • The Mountain Mushroom Festival funds will pay the bus driver’s hourly rate as set by the school board and cost of fuel.
