You are invited to join the City of Irvine for
the 31st anniversary of the festival.
Visitor Information
From I-75: Take Exit 90-A (Richmond/Irvine). Follow US 421 (Martin Bypass) 4 miles to US 52 east (traffic
light 13). Turn left and proceed 18 miles to the City of Irvine on US 52
OR
Turn left at the first red light on Rt. 499 (bypass). Drive 1.4 mile and turn right at the end of the bypass at the
traffic light onto Rt. 89 and proceed 1.4 mile to downtown Irvine.
From Mountain Parkway: Take Exit 16 (Clay City/Winchester). Turn onto KY 82 and follow until it intersects
with US 89. Turn left. Remain on Hwy US 89 approximately 7 miles to the City of Irvine.

Street Closings:
The following streets in Irvine and Ravenna will be closed at certain times during the festival due to the
various events being held.

Broadway from Main Street to Estill Avenue, Friday, April 28, 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30 , 6 p.m.

Court Street from River Drive to Church Street, Friday, April 28, 5 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 6 p.m.

Broadway from 8 th Street in Ravenna to Estill Avenue in Irvine , Sat., April 29 , 9 10 a .

River Drive will have street cones, from Court Street to 8 th S treet in Ravenna, Sat., April 29 , 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Mack Street, Sat., April 29 , 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
Guidelines:

Admission to the festival is free and all events are open to the public.

Portable toilets will be available for public use at several locations on Br oadway and on Co urt Street near Church Street where a handicapped accessible po rt able toilet will also be available.

All events are handicapped accessible. Handicapped accessible parking s paces will be available on the
public streets and in parking lots. -
Handwashing stations will be available at different locations.

No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, or scooters will be allowed in the festival area.

No animals please.

Parking areas will be available at the following locations.

Irvine United Methodist Church, 243 Main Street, Irvine (proceeds go to Boy Scout Troop 89)

Irvine First Church of God, 199 Broadway, Irvine (proceeds go to the church)

Citizen's Guaranty Bank, 25 River Drive, Irvine (proceeds go to the Estill County High School Prom)

Estill County High School and West Irvine Elementary School. A shu ttle service (10 a.m. 6 p.m. on April 29 and 10 a.m. 5 p.m. on April 30) will be provided every 30 minutes throughout the day.
Shuttle Service:
During the festival we are striving to make the traffic flow as efficiently and quickly as possible. The bus shuttle service was so successful last year the service is being provided again as a courtesy to festival visitors in cooperation with the Estill County School system.

Two Estill County School buses will be used as shuttles on Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 30, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Route #1 will be: pick-up at Estill County High School, 397 Engineer Road, Irvine. Travel to the drop-off at Central Office, 253 Main Street, Irvine. Return to ECHS with continuous shuttles every 30 minutes.

Route #2 will be: pick-up at West Irvine Elementary School, 155 Riverview Road, Irvine. Travel to the drop-off at Central Office, 253 Main Street, Irvine. Return to West Irvine Elementary School with continuous shuttles every 30 minutes.

The Mountain Mushroom Festival funds will pay the bus driver’s hourly rate as set by the school board and cost of fuel.
